Our School Essentials Grant is a limited fund and has now closed, we expect to reopen this grant in early summer 2027.

If you have applied and received an email confirming your application was submitted, you will hear from us no later than Monday 6th July 2026 with the outcome of your application. We are unable to discuss your application by phone or respond to requests for updates to you before this date. If you need to contact us about your grant application, you can email schoolsgrant@charisgrants.com.

If you need help with school uniform or equipment, you may be able to get support from the Government or your Local Authority.  Click here to find out more.

You may also be able to apply for a Financial Grant from GroceryAid if something unexpected has happened in your household and your income has significantly reduced. If school uniform is your only reason for applying, your application will not be considered.  Click here to see if you are eligible.

If you have already received a Financial Grant from GroceryAid, you will need to wait 12 months from the date you were paid before you can apply again. To be considered for further help you must meet our criteria and show that since your last application there has been an unexpected change which has significantly reduced your household income.
